On the occasion of completion of fifty years of its establishment, in the final match of the Golden Jubilee Invitation Cup cricket competition played by Friends Club Chaibasa at the local Birsa Munda Cricket Stadium ground, Young Jharkhand captain Harsh Kumar won the toss and the opposition team was allowed to bat first. Batting first, JSCA XI team was all out after scoring 179 runs in 18.5 overs. The best batting was done by captain Atul Singh Surwar who scored 59 runs in just 38 balls with the help of five fours and four sixes. Among other batsmen, Satyendra Prajapati scored 29 runs, Vivek Kumar scored 24 runs, Aditya Narayan scored 20 runs and Rishikesh Tiwari scored 18 runs. On behalf of Young Jharkhand Cricket Club, Rishu Singh Chauhan took 5 wickets for 26 runs while Ashish Chaudhary took three wickets for 50 runs.

The entire team of Young Jharkhand Cricket Club, which set out to chase 180 runs in the stipulated twenty overs to win, could score only 58 runs in 12.1 overs and lost the final match by 121 runs. On behalf of Young Jharkhand, Arpit Yadav scored 20 runs and Rajeev Ranjan scored 10 runs. No other batsman could reach double figures. In the prize distribution ceremony organized after the end of the match, Deputy Commissioner of West Singhbhum Mr. Ananya Mittal gave the trophy to the winning team along with a cash prize of Rs 51000/- and the special guest Saurabh Tiwari, former cricketer of Team India and captain of Jharkhand Ranji team, gave the trophy to the runner-up team. Awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 31000/-. The Man of the Match award of the final match was given to Atul Singh Surwar of JSCA XI and the Man of the Series award was given to Ashish Chaudhary of Young Jharkhand. For his excellent bowling throughout the competition, the best bowling award was given to Rishu Singh Chauhan of Young Jharkhand and the best batting award was given to Rishikesh Tiwari of JSCA XI. All these awards were given by the chief guest. Organizing Committee Chairman Mukund Rungta rewarded all the umpires and scorers for the successful conduct of the competition. On the occasion of completion of fifty years of Friends Club Chaibasa, the chief guest specially honored the founding member of the club and a famous cricketer of his time, Mr. Supriyo Faujdar.
