National OBC Morcha handed over nine-point demand letter to Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Mohammad

* Congress should provide justice to OBCs in Jharkhand.

Jharkhand state president of National OBC Morcha, Rajesh Gupta, handed over a nine-point demand letter to Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Mohammad at the Government Guest House (Morabadi) today and reminded him of Rahul Gandhi's advocacy of giving rights and authority to the OBC community and the coalition government of Jharkhand. Appealed to get his rights.

The demand letter submitted by Mr. Gupta states that the OBC community had given its support to the coalition government after the assurance of giving 27% reservation to OBCs in the last elections.

In return, instead of giving 27% reservation, the government has many times deprived the OBC community of its rights by manipulating the roster itself. The JPSC examinations were rigged, the age limit of OBC in the Junior Judge vacancy was made equal to the general category. OBC reservation has been canceled in seven districts. Even in the vacancies of constables, OBC reservation has been reduced to zero in one and a half dozen districts. The decision to give reservation to Kinnar community in OBC community has been taken by the Cabinet. The representation of OBC community in boards and corporations in the state is almost zero.

Mr. Gupta has demanded to conduct caste survey in the state. He has said that in the Congress session held in the neighboring state Chhattisgarh, it was talked about giving proper representation to OBCs in the organization but in Jharkhand it is zero. Will the party pay attention to this?

Shri Gupta has drawn attention to many such issues in the demand letter submitted to Congress and has demanded the participation of OBCs.
