Student Council will start a phased movement to protect the autonomy of Ranchi University.

The Student Council held a press conference in the local provincial office regarding various academic problems prevailing in Ranchi University and the removal of the outsourcing company. In this press conference, there was a discussion about the educational problems in which there was a detailed discussion about the corruption prevalent in the university and the involvement of the Vice Chancellor and the upcoming campaigns.

State Co-Minister Disha, present in the talk, said that Ranchi University has become a den of corruption as every day the students have to face problems regarding the entrance examination and results and the university officials are busy in making new tenders. Outsourcing of examination related work and patronizing that private company despite huge irregularities shows that there is something wrong in the matter.

Errors in the admit card every day, increase in examination fees by up to 50 percent, irregularity of academic sessions are indicators of this.

Present Ranchi Metropolitan District Convenor Amar Singh said that the university is handing over all the departments to private companies day by day, as a result the law and order system of the university has come to a complete standstill.

Ranchi Metropolitan Minister Rituraj Shahdev said that the university officials are doing the work keeping all the rules and conditions in mind.

If the Vice Chancellor does not remove this company immediately, then the Student Council will conduct a phased agitation in all the campuses from January 08.
