Ranchi: The two-day 14th annual festival of Adi Shakti Shri Jeen Mata Ji was celebrated by Shri Jeen Mata Prachar Samiti, Ranchi. On the second day of the festival, the consecration of Mata was done by Vijay Palriwal with his family at Marwari Bhawan from 10:00 am. Mata's flame was lit at 1:00. The recitation of Mangal Path by 751 women in traditional attire started from 2:00 pm.
Anand Parasar came from Jeen Dham to read the recitation and Nikita Sharma came from Kolkata, who along with reciting the musical Mangal Paath, made the Ganga of melodious bhajans flow. First of all, the festival started with the worship of Ganesha.

In the Jeen Janam Utsav, all the women members danced and invoked Maa Jeen. It was completed by Om Prakash and Palriwal family. 181 feet Chundi was offered to Mata by the members and 51 feet Gajra was offered to Mata and Chhappan Bhog and Nishan were offered to Mata in the court of Mata. The women members of the organization helped in arranging the Prasad. During the program of the festival, Shri Padam Chand Jain was honored by the committee for his social service and Kamal Aggarwal was honored with Militsa India Samman by giving him Angavastra, memento and Prasad. Devotees of Jeen Bhavani who came from Jamshedpur, Hazaribagh and Ramgarh were also honored with memento and Prasad. The program ended with Maha Aarti.
In the program, Charan Paduka service was provided by Dr. Lalchand Bagadia Acupressure Institute.
