Strategy made for proposed hunger strike in Ramgarh from January 30
Ranchi. The meeting of Jharkhand Pradesh Vaishya Morcha, Core Committee was held in Hotel Aloka Auditorium located on Radium Road, Ranchi. The meeting was presided over by Central President Maheshwar Sahu. In this meeting organized on the preparation of 72-hour hunger strike to be held in Ramgarh from January 30 and the issue of giving reservation to OBCs in body elections, after much discussion, it was decided that 27% reservation for OBCs, formation of Vaishya Commission. Vaishya Morcha has been fighting for more than one and a half decade on the demands of caste based census, loan waiver of small shopkeepers up to Rs 10 lakh, security of Vaishya community etc. But the voice of Vaishyas, who constitute 40% of the population, has been ignored. Therefore, now a 72-hour hunger strike will be started from 30th January, the martyrdom day of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, at the site of the Gandhi statue at Thana Chowk in Ramgarh. Since Central President Maheshwar Sahu will sit in this hunger strike program, it will be the responsibility of the central officials and district heads of Vaishya Morcha to help in making the entire campaign successful. The officials of the cell organization have to participate in this program by playing their independent role. It was decided in the meeting that people from six districts would come every day to participate in this four-day program. Which will be decided in two-four days.
It was decided in the meeting that under the meetings in the districts, meetings will be held on January 10 in Tandwa and Barkagaon, on January 12 in Ramgarh, Hazaribagh and Bokaro and on January 13 in Kanke. At the end of the meeting, a resolution was passed demanding the government to conduct body elections only after conducting triple test in the state. Whatever legal initiative needs to be taken for this, the state government should take it. If elections are held without giving reservation to OBCs, there will be protests in the entire state. Executive President Hiranath Sahu, Senior Vice President Ramsevak Prasad, Ashwini Kumar Sahu, Central Vice President Sahdev Chaudhary, Parshuram Prasad, Laxman Sahu, Principal General Secretary Birendra Kumar, Deputy Principal General Secretary Upendra Prasad, Indubhushan Gupta, Organization General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sahu, Rohit Sharda were present in the meeting. , Central Secretary Guddu Saha, Organization Secretary Anil Vaish, Media Incharge Rahul Kumar Sahu, Central Member Naresh Sahu and Ranchi District President Rohit Kumar Sahu, Yuva Morcha President Haldhar Sahu and General Secretary Diwakar Sahu, Chhatra Morcha President Yuvraj Sahu were present.
